Curio
0.00scoreMost AI tutors answer your questions. Curio does the opposite: you teach it — and it finds out what you actually understand. This is based on the Feynman Technique: explaining a concept in simple terms to reveal gaps in your own understanding. Curio is the AI student you have to teach. A teacher, student, or expert explains an idea naturally by voice and can add a whiteboard/screen capture. Curio listens as a novice while a separate agent harness extracts claims, crash-tests them against an approved curriculum, tracks what is covered or assumed, and selects the next useful question. At the end, an isolated learner model teaches the idea back using only what the human actually conveyed. The gap between the reference and that teach-back makes misconceptions, omissions, and hidden assumptions visible. Curio is for teachers rehearsing lessons, students testing whether they can explain rather than recognize, and experts turning hard-won judgment into reusable learning systems. The current product includes a working web app, a packaged native Mac app, one verified syllabus pack, and a live syllabus-to-pack compiler — all runnable locally from the repository, exactly as demonstrated in the video.
