AI assistants are starting to do real things for us, not just answer questions. They can plan a whole trip, compare your options, and get you to the final step of booking. The problem is what happens at that final step. Payment systems still expect a person to be there, travel sites want you to make an account, and an assistant left to pay on its own can easily get tricked by a fake website or a scam checkout. That's the gap Booking Layer closes. It's the trusted go-between that lets your AI assistant actually book and pay for things like hotels (with flights, tours, and restaurants coming next), without needing your card or a login. You stay in charge the whole way. You approve one simple request up front, setting a spending limit and the rules for where, when, and what, and your assistant can only ever act inside those limits. Your money is held safely the entire time and can only go two places: to the real business once a booking is confirmed, or straight back to you. It pays using USDC, a stablecoin built for this kind of automatic, behind-the-scenes payment, so everything settles instantly and securely. In short, Booking Layer lets your AI assistant handle the booking while you keep full control of every dollar.
